When Kim Kardashian was seen getting her hair blow-dried and styled in LA yesterday, it was assumed that she was preening and preparing herself for the People’s Choice awards later that evening.

Not so, because Kim then gave the ceremony a miss – only to win an award at it. After hearing about her prize for Best Fake Wedding , sorry we mean for Best Reality Star she took to Twitter to say:

"Thank you to everyone who voted for me tonight for the People's Choice Awards! It means the world to me! xoxo"

But not enough to actually turn up to the gig right? Although, let’s be fair to Kim, like Katy Perry she’s been keeping a very low profile since her break up with her (fake) husband.

If walls could talk, the house Jennifer Aniston stayed in this winter with her boyfriend Justin Theroux would tell some pretty sordid tales we should imagine.

According to reports the pair spent 99% of their skiing holiday in Colorado holed up in a private lodge with things lodged up holes.

Well at least that’s what we assume they got up to as, apparently, the two barely left their luxury accommodation while there, aside from to pick up some rations occasionally. Some rather saucy sources have been blabbing to the press this week about the couple’s randy holiday.

Everyone expected Adele to be the leading nominee at this year’s Brit Awards, alas the most nominations have not gone to her, but to another leading ginger pop act – Ed Sheeran.

He’s been given a nod in four categories at the ceremony including Best Album, Best Male, Best Breakthrough and Best Single for his tune ‘The A Team’.

Adele hasn’t done badly though – she’s landed herself three nominations (Best Female, Best Album and Best Single) while Jessie J has done the same (in the categories of Best Female, Best Breakthrough and Best Single, for her song ‘Price Tag’)

In addition One Direction, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Example, Jessie J, JLS, Gareth Malone, Olly Murs, Pixie Lott and The Wanted are all up for Best Single, while Arctic Monkeys, Coldplay, Chase & Status, Elbow and Kasabian will battle it out for Best Group.

And 90’s Britpop act Blur will be given the lifetime achievement award.

The ceremony is set to take place on February 21st at the 02 Arena.
